2 pkg yeast
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup agave
3/4 cup non-dairy butter, melted (Earth Balance)
1/2 cup almond non-dairy milk
1 Tbsp apple-cider vinegar
2 Tbsp warm water
In large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt together. In small bowl add vinegar to milk and let set.
In small bowl add yeast to warm water and let set. Add agave and melted butter to dry ingredients. Stir in yeast mixture. Mixture will be sticky.
Mix well and let it rise in warm area, covered with a cloth. After at least 30 minutes, uncover and spoon into greased muffin pan and bake
in 350 preheated oven for 20 minutes.
This recipe of Whole Wheat Angel Muffins reminds me of angle flake biscuits but without white flour. It is baked like muffins instead of rolled like biscuits.Yum!
