2-3 Tbsp olive oil
2-3 Tbsp whole wheat flour
sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
water
1 pkg wild rice mixture (5 Cups)
In a large skillet over high heat, saute mushrooms in olive oil. Stir in 2-3 Tbsp flour and stir until absorbed. Add1 cup water and stir, adding sea salt and pepper to taste.
In a large stock pot over high heat, add whole pkg of wild rice mixture to boiling water and cover for 10 minutes. Follow pkg instructions. Turn off heat and let it steam for 10 more minutes.
Once rice mixture is done, stir mushroom gravy into the rice and serve. This dish can easily be frozen and heated in the oven for large family gatherings!
